It has\u00a0<strong>a relay, three buffered inputs, three outputs, and three analog inputs<\/strong>, all 24V-tolerant. Automation HAT Mini is\u00a0a great way to monitor and control them.<\/p>\n<p>Use the buffered inputs to sense the on\/off state of your devices, or get more granularity with the analog\u00a0inputs\u00a0that measure the input voltage with 12-bit accuracy. The sinking outputs can sink a total of 500mA across the three channels. For higher-current loads, you can use the relay\u00a0that can tolerate up to 2A at 24V, and take advantage of the normally-open or normally-closed sides to give the correct failover state.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve added a female header on the underside of the board with the correct pinout for our Pimoroni breakout range. This opens up a whole host of nifty possibilities! Pop an\u00a0I2C Breakout Extender\u00a0into the header, and then you can easily pop in one of our breakouts. No soldering necessary! Use an\u00a0LTR-559 Light and Proximity Sensor\u00a0to\u00a0turn a device\u00a0on automatically when it gets light or dark, or a\u00a0BME280\u00a0Temperature, Pressure, and Humidity Sensor\u00a0to trigger at a specific temperature or humidity threshold.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Software<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As usual, we&#8217;ve made a super-simple to use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pimoroni\/automation-hat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Python library<\/a>\u00a0to take advantage of all of Automation HAT Mini&#8217;s\u00a0functions, with examples to get you started.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve added support for the 0.96&#8243; LCD to our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pimoroni\/automation-hat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Automation HAT library<\/a>\u00a0so, when you run the installer, everything you need will be set up and installed.\u00a0Nifty!<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0examples show you how to use all of the different functions on Automation HAT Mini and how to display their status on the LCD.
