Our Home Assistant – Raspberry Pi 5 Starter Kit contains the necessary products to get started with Home Assistant on the Raspberry Pi. Home Assistant is pre-installed, so you just have to assemble the set and plug it in, and you’re good to go.
Follow this guide to get started.
You choose either SD card with Home Assistant on or SSD with Home Assistant on.
We recommend SSD if you want the fastest system and better lifetime of your device.
NOTE WITH SSD: With older versions of firmware on the Pi 5, an SD card must be used to set up the boot order the first time, cf. link.
